You can check it in seconds on the 'Does it fit?' page. Enter the model of your indoor unit, or its width, height and depth in millimetres, and you'll see straight away whether the cover fits. All covers are the same size.

On a sticker on the side of the indoor unit, or under the front flap next to the filter. The model is a code such as FTXM25R or MSZ-LN35VG. Can't find it? Send us a photo of the unit on the wall and we'll look it up for you.

Magnetically, on a steel bracket around the existing unit. Nothing about the air conditioner itself changes.

Yes. The cover clicks off the bracket and lifts straight off. Clean the filter, put the cover back, done. No tools needed.

Dusting with a dry, soft cloth is enough. The oak is stained and finished with plant-based hard-wax oil (Studio with beeswax), so there is nothing to treat. Cane can be wiped with a lightly damp cloth now and then.

Yes. Every cover is designed around the unit's airflow: open fronts to draw air in and a free outlet along the bottom. The Horizontaal, for example, is 37% open, enough for a 3.5 kW unit without restriction.

We use quarter-sawn solid oak that barely moves, and the air leaves underneath the cover, not through it. That is why we give a 10-year warranty on finish and construction.

Four to six weeks. Every cover is made by hand in our atelier in Amsterdam.
